Evidence of the appetite for this type of finance from issuers and investors is easy to find. We structured the UK’s first local authority solar bond. It sold out a month early and helped us win Solutions Partner of the Year in the 2017 Public Finance Innovation Awards. Lifecycle investments - from construction of new social housing to refinance of operational wind turbines - have sold out quickly; corporate bond offers see very strong demand, as do first-of-a-kind project financing, such as for geothermal power via a debt issuance. The Abundance ISA and Abundance Pension - both UK firsts in our sector - have pushed positive investment firmly into the mainstream. And we are still just beginning with £110 million raised and counting.
